Terms & Conditions

1. Photographs for scanning can be no larger than A4 size.
2. You must hold the copyright in the image or have permission to use it. We may request you to sign a disclaimer form to confirm this and indemnify us against any breach of copyright.
3. Printed output may vary in colours to the image as it appears on screen. Wherever possible, we will advise you on issues of print quality and image resolution, however we cannot accept liability for any loss of definition or colour.
4. Where you wish us to crop an image, this should be marked clearly on the print with masking tap.
5. We cannot accept responsibility for lost or damages files, prints or negatives.
6. We may use your finished image on our website, our partner websites, exhibition stands and in marketing literature and press publicity for marketing purposes.
7. All work must be paid for in advance.
8. We have taken all reasonable measures to ensure our prints will be lightfast. However, customers must understand that this cannot be guaranteed either by the manufacturers of the inks we use, or by us.
9. Exposure to excessive heat may cause the timber frame to warp. We are not liable for any warping that may occur as result.
10. Your personal data may be retained by us for use in our marketing but only in accordance with data privacy laws. We will not disclose your personal details to any third party.
11. Our cancellations policy accords to European laws governing distance selling. For our Limited Edition Range of Prints, you can cancel your order up to 7 days after receipt of the print. However, you must pay the cost of securely and safely returning the goods to us. Due to the uniquely customized nature of Personalised Art Photo to Canvas Prints, you can only cancel your order if we have not yet printed your print. In this case, you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. If your personalised art order has already been printed, you will be charged in full for your order.
12. We can produce a test print of your image which we can send to you for approval. If you prefer, we can supply a soft proof via e-mail for approval purposes. SHould you wish to see further test prints on canvas, each subsequent test print will be charged at €10. For Warhol, Lich-Style and most Funky style canvas prints, the preview is for viewing purposes only and cannot be ameneded. Therefore, you should ensure you are completely happy with the image supply before we start work. If you do want to make changes or supply a new photo to us, you will be charged the cost of your chosen style again.

Privacy Policy

We respect and take your privacy very seriously.

You may, from time to time, receive information from us about new features, new services and special offers we think you'll find valuable. However, we NEVER share your personal information with any other third party or company. To remove yourself from our mailing list, simply e-mail us at info@thecanvasworks.ie with the word REMOVE in the subject heading.

Our e-commerce website is completely secure and uses the latest SSL 128-bit encryption technology for the processing of your on-line transactions. All transactions are processed in real-time on secure servers in partnership with realex, the real-time credit card processing company. Your financial data is not retained or even seen by us at any stage in the processing.

Delivery Costs

Delivery in Ireland for any sized print is €15.

Delivery is by courier or surface mail depending on size and weight. Delivery times vary depending on location and size of the print but once the print is despatched, delivery typically is next day delivery in Ireland.

PLEASE NOTE: This does not mean the total turnaround time from order to delivery is 24 hours! Production turn around time is normally 5 to 7 days for canvas and longer for framed prints, aluminiums and acrylics. If you need your order turned around by a particular deadline, please ask us before ordering and we can agree a total production turn around time.

PLEASE NOTE: You must be present at your delivery location during the day of delivery. We have no control over the time your print will be delivered and cannot liaise with the courier company to arrange a time as delivery time is completely at their discretion. Delivery can be made to a work address if you are unable to be present at your home address. Thank you for your co-operation!
